We currently have more members than ever (over 650) and it costs us around £600 per member per year to run the Centre. We rely on our sponsors and supporters for financial support as we get no funding from the government or NHS. Our services are vital to support local people through their cancer journeys and fulfill many aspects of care that the NHS simply cannot afford. Our talking therapies alone are much quicker to access than referrals through the GP and we need to keep raising funds to provide this to our members.
We would like to extend our gratitude and thanks to the following organisations who are currently supporting us by sponsoring the Centre's activities and projects or giving their time and expertise to help us.
"Sunrise of Purley are delighted to sponsor SECHC as they provide bespoke support to individuals with cancer and their loved ones, when they need it. Sunrise believe in and provide person-centred care for all individuals who need support. If you or a loved one has been affected by cancer we encourage you to get in touch with SECHC and see what support they can offer you."
"Rokewood Court Care Home, Kenley is a new £7.9m purpose-built 64 bedroom luxury care home, part of the award-winning Cinnamon Care Collection.
“We are delighted to sponsor SECHC. A local charity who support residents living in and around Purley, we are proud to volunteer our time with this team of dedicated people who can make a big difference to someone’s life when affected by cancer.”
