Our monthly Cancer Support Groups provide mutual support and information to Bowel, Breast, Oesophagus and Gastric, Ovarian, Prostate patients, their families and carers.

The Bowel Cancer Support Group meets at the Centre on the First Wednesday of each month from 7.00pm until 9.00pm. 

Meetings for 2020 will be on: 8th January (annual dinner - venue tbc), 5th February, 4th March, 1st April, 6th May, 3rd June, 1st July, 5th August, 2nd September, 7th October, 4th November, 2nd December.

The Breast Cancer Support Group meet on the third Tuesday of each month (except August and December) from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

Meetings for 2020 are to be held: 21 Jan, 18 Feb, 17 Mar, 21 Apr, 19 May, 16 Jun, 21 Jul, (no meeting in August,) 15 Sep, 20 Oct & 17 Nov.

Learning that you have cancer is a difficult time for you and those around you. If you have recently been diagnosed, or are being treated, or are recovering from Oesophageal and Gastric cancer, our group provides a place for mutual support for you, your family and your carer.

Meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of every month (except July 2020) from 6:30pm to 8.30pm.

Come and meet others who have been affected by ovarian cancer. It is an opportunity to share experiences & advice in a relaxed & friendly atmosphere.

The Ovarian Cancer Support Group usually meets monthly at the Centre on the second Wednesday of every month from 6.30pm until 8.30pm.

Meetings for 2020 will be on: 8th January, 12th February, 11th March, 8th April, 13th May, 10th June, 8th July, 12th August, 9th September, 14th October, 11th November, 9th December.

Hearing that you have or may have prostate cancer can be a devastating experience. Our aims are to help those with or affected by prostate cancer, by providing information and the opportunity to talk to others similarly affected, in total confidence.

We are a friendly, informal group who meet to discuss a variety of issues and access information from healthcare professionals on different treatment options. Speakers on various topics are regularly invited.

The Prostate Cancer Support Group meet on the first Monday of each month (except when that is a Bank Holiday) from 10.30am until 12.30pm.

Meetings for 2020 are scheduled for: 6th January, 3rd February, 2nd March,6th April, 4th May (with lunch afterwards), 1st June, 6th July, 3rd August, 7th September, 5th October, 2nd November, 7th December 2020 (with lunch afterwards).
