Telephone or Video Counselling
The Centre is still offering counselling Monday to Saturday via telephone or video.
Counselling is about helping you to think things through for yourself to find your own answers. It is not always an easy process, as it may mean talking about things you feel uncomfortable about. But it can also be a relief to air these feelings, thoughts and ideas with someone who listens, does not judge and respects your confidentiality.
Distance Reiki can be sent to anyone, anywhere and at any time in the world and enables your Reiki Master to go beyond the limitations of time and space. It expands your practitioner’s ability to transmit spiritual energy beyond physical touch. In other words, it’s a way to offer Reiki without the recipient being in the same room as you. During a distance Reiki session, you will experience the same sensations as you would in person. You might see colours, feel warmth – or even cold – in different parts of your body. At the time of your appointment you should be at home, relaxing, preferably in a room on your own, laying on your bed would be ideal. Make sure no one disturbs you, close your eyes and do nothing.
Would you like to try some self-help reflexology on your hands? Guided by one of our reflexologists Heidi, you will be shown simple tips and techniques to help promote relaxation, and general well-being. All you need is your hands, a little hand cream and a listening ear.
Telephone and Video Nutritional Therapy is available Monday to Saturday, between 9am and 8pm.
A telephone or video consultation with our Nutritionist is an opportunity to find out which foods are best for you to improve energy, reduce symptoms,
cope with treatment, and help reduce the chances of a recurrence.

Online Pilates with Amy Rogers
2-3pm Weds and 10am-11am Saturday
Pilates classes with Amy are aimed at giving you the time to breathe, stretch and strengthen in a fun, relaxed and encouraging environment.
Remember, it is progression not perfection that is important!
It doesn't matter if you are young or old, fit or out of shape, flexible or not, Pilates is one of a handful of exercises which can benefit everyone.
Online Yoga with Gail Davies (for SECHC members only)
Mondays 2pm to 2.40pm and Thursdays 2pm to 2.40pm
This gentle class may be taken seated in a chair, to allow those who find it difficult to get up and down from the floor to experience the benefits of a yoga practice.
Yoga is a holistic system for bringing about balance and harmony on all levels: body, mind, emotions and spirit. A yoga practice that includes breathing, exercises, simple movements, relaxation and meditation can help to restore this balance when it has been disturbed by illness.
This online class is restricted to existing Yoga clients.
Online Tai Chi with Richard Antonowicz
Wednesdays 10.30am to 11.30am
Tai Chi can be done by people of all ages and at all levels of fitness. It is not competitive, and everyone works at their own level and for their own benefit.
It is absorbing but not exhausting or stressful. There is no need for any special equipment or clothing; just wear something loose and comfortable and socks or flat, soft soled shoes.
Mindfulness Drop-In Classes with Farah Govani
Mondays 10am to 11.30am
The classes are structured so that they are suitable for everyone, whether you’re a complete beginner, have a committed daily practice or if you feel you are somewhere in between.
Online Guided Relaxation with Anne-Claire Noat
Fridays 10am to 10.45am
This guided relaxation uses breathing exercises, body relaxation and visualisations to help you lower your stress levels.
It is hoped this will also help you build confidence in your own ability to reduce and manage stress and anxiety.
