HeadStrong Service

For many people, losing their hair as a result of treatment for breast cancer can be the most distressing side effect. Anyone who has lost their hair through chemotherapy still needs to feel good and confident about themselves.

Although funded by Breast Cancer Care, the HeadStrong service offers practical information and support to anyone experiencing hair loss through treatment for any type of cancer. The service empowers women and men to learn a new skill and provides a choice of different headwear products.

This service is provided by volunteers selected and trained by Breast Cancer Care.
