We came together in the autumn of 2005 and have been guided by our wonderful teacher Laura Carew-Gibbs.
The current 16 members have all in some way been affected by cancer and for many this has been an amazing journey. People came along originally out of interest to see what happened and have been inspired and caught along by the joy, excitement and pleasure of creating music.
A recent development has been that we have received invitations to sing at concerts and so have now been able to contribute to the Centre by raising funds from our appearances!
Very few of us have ever sung before and we do hope that new people will come along and join us at our practice in the Centre on Fridays from 6.00-7.30 pm.
