What is reflexology?
Reflexology like aromatherapy has been practised
since ancient Egyptian times.
This
therapy is the study of certain points, or "reflexes",
in the feet which correspond to all parts of the body. By using
specific techniques of holds and pressures on these reflexes the
body is encouraged to achieve a more balanced state, an improvement
in well-being and a better functioning immune system.

Reflexology can be useful in the relief of many
conditions or symptoms - both emotional and physical. It is a pleasant
treatment and one which can be very relaxing. The sessions are for
40 minutes.
If you have any query or concern
about aromatherapy or reflexology following a treatment session,
please contact your therapist via the Centre Manager.
If you have any other problems, then you should
contact your GP or hospital in the usual way.
To maximise the benefits of these sessions try
to rest afterwards and drink a glass or two of water.
Our reflexology sessions are limited to 40 minutes
which includes consultation time at the first appointment. We
will endeavour to offer a course of 4 sessions initially. Further
appointments may be made following this or you may go onto a rota
- thus enabling us to keep a few spaces free for emergencies.
Please do not hesitate to contact the Centre Manager should you
feel that you are in need of an urgent appointment.
