Doug Constable, brother of Jim Constable, one of our long-standing volunteers who sadly died last year, visited the Centre with his wife, Jim’s wife Val, his daughter and grandchildren to present us with a cheque for £1,600 in memory of Jim.

Doug achieved this by running a half marathon for his 60th Birthday. He found the training difficult (even though he had run at school!) but, despite the struggle, he completed his mission - although he was pipped at the post by a banana!
