The Proms Come to Purley

With an Amazing Tardis effect, the atmosphere of the Albert Hall was squeezed into our meeting room when the Centre held our annual Proms afternoon.

Centrale Fashion Show

A massive THANK YOU to Mondial Insurance for nominating us as one of the charities supported at this year's Style Live fashion shows at Centrale.

Hosted by Mark Heyes from GMTV and Andrew Barton from "10 Years Younger", the three day fashion extravaganza was launched at a VIP night on Wednesday 28th October.

Visit from St. Andrews School, Waddon

Five young people recently came to visit the SECHC from St. Andrews School in Waddon. Part of their school project involved researching a local charity and as they had chosen SECHC they wanted to know more about us.

More Questions than Anwers...!!

On Friday, 23rd October ’09 - our charming fundraiser, Geoff Down, normally known for fundraising an ENORMOUS amount every year to keep the Centre going, went beyond his call of duty to raise more funds with a quizzical ‘fish-n-chips’ night!

A Concert by Organist Peter Barraclough

International Organist Peter Barraclough and Mezzo Soprano Josephine Thorpe performed "Musical Gems (A Concert of Voice and Organ)" on behalf of the Centre on Saturday 17th October.
