When 11 year old Frances Russell discovered that her street had no plans to hold a street party to celebrate the Royal Wedding she promptly knocked on all her neighbours’ doors and contacted the South East Cancer Help Centre to say that she wanted to raise money for us.

A sea of colour washed over Woodcote Park Golf Club as over 80 people dressed up as if they were actually going to the races. A champagne reception was followed by a sumptuous meal and a large screen ensured that everyone was able to follow the races.
