Thursdays are Arts and Crafts Days
From 10 am to 4pm, the Craft group gets stuck
into making:
Cards - cushions - soft toys - children's clothes
- toilet accessories - decorative items etc stopping briefly for
a well earned healthy lunch and a tea break later in the afternoon.

Craft items are often sold at the centre, or
at local fairs and our own Christmas Fair and Easter Bazaar.
Art classes are held concurrently, where help
and advice is provided on how to achieve a personal masterpiece!
Two exhibitions of our artwork have been arranged,
one at Croydon Library in 1999, which was viewed by about 3,000
people, and one at the Sun Lounge, Fairfield Halls, in July 2001.
Saturday workshops
On selected Saturdays during the summer, there
are workshops held on Dance, Drama, Comedy, Stage Make-up etc...
Thursday Talks
By a variety of speakers, including our own members,
on anything under the sun!
Drama
We have a therapeutic drama programme and patients,
carers and volunteers have taken part in shows and pantomimes especially
written for the cast and rehersals are great fun.

All the shows, which have been performed at the
Centre, local church halls, and even the Ashcroft Theatre, Fairfield
Halls, have been sell-outs!
