I have followed the activities of the South East Cancer Help Centre for a number of years and in 2004 became a Trustee and Director. The Centre can rightly be proud of the high standards of service it offers to all those affected by cancer.

This includes a very active prostate group at the South East Cancer Help Centre. Men with prostate cancer and their families have found this resource extremely beneficial. It provides a setting in which patients and their partners are able to share experiences and air concerns in a relaxed atmosphere. I have found my personal involvement with the prostate group most rewarding. My visits to the South East Cancer Help Centre have always been a positive experience.

In my clinics at Mayday, I advise patients newly diagnosed with cancer to avail themselves of the excellent facilities at Purley. I wish the Centre my very best.
